A Dedicated SSC CHSL Aspirant’s Study Room: Inspiration and Focus
Four years ago, in 2019, my journey towards becoming an SSC CHSL aspirant began. Ever since, this has been my sanctuary, my battleground, a space where discipline and determination meet. This is more than just a study room; it's a reflection of my aspirations and commitment.
My Study Room and Its Essence
While there is nothing particularly unique or special about my study room, I believe that the motivation it inspires is worth sharing. This simple space has reflected my dedication, and I hope that imparting my experience can motivate other aspirants to push forward. Here are some glimpses of my study routine and the space that keeps me motivated, one tool at a time.
The Green Corridor
My study room overlooks a stunning view of lush greenery. The window, opened in the early morning, provides a serene visual that I have learned to appreciate deeply. This greenery, brimming with trees and foliage, serves as a critical component in my mental relaxation, allowing me to absorb positive energy and carry that serenity through to my studies.
Handwritten Notes and Personal Favourites
A unique aspect of my study room is the presence of handwritten notes, most notably in Biology and Reasoning, particularly the Syllogism chapter. I also have a treasured Atlas book from 2010 that has been my constant companion since then. This book has been invaluable in enhancing my Geographical knowledge, both about India and the world at large.
Personal Touches and Naps
Lastly, my study table and the books scattered around are not just tools for preparation; they also represent moments of respite and fun. The laptop, my primary study aid for online mocks and news reading, is a part of this. The books I read when I get tired of SSC preparation, often found lost amongst PENNIS (perplexions), have left their mark on me with extensive scribbles and annotations. While I have no selfies here, I chose to keep my phone out to avoid distractions and keep focused.
