How My Life Looks During Quarantine
Life has drastically changed since the world went into quarantine. As a female currently in university, you might expect my appearance and routines to have undergone significant transformations. However, in many ways, my life has stayed remarkably consistent. Let’s take a look at how I’ve kept my sanity during these unprecedented times.
Wild and Wonderful Quarantine Self
One might think that with no immediate social obligations, my appearance would be a bit chaotic. However, reality is a bit more... let’s say 'reminiscent'.
Me: Like Trash Lmao
This chaos is showcased in the pictures I send my friends and, yes, even my mom. They range from full-out nice (at least, nice facially), to a complete crackhead. Like sticking my tongue out to party screws.
Consistency in Fashion and Appearances
Surprisingly, my fashion sense has stayed surprisingly consistent. In university or during quarantine, my typical outfit consists of a t-shirt, some blue jeans, and a hat. Yes, the same outfit for multiple days! Much to my dismay, this is a reflection of how my quarantine life is.
Even my hair and melanin count have remained the same, but there have been some changes. For instance, my hair has grown longer (about 4 inches on top and 3 on the sides), making me look like a male version of Harionago. I’m considering growing it further to shoulder-length, like Timothee Chalamet in Beautiful Boy, but I might need a hair stylist’s help for that.
My nails are also much longer, indicating a neglect of this typically routine task. However, I plan to clip them this week to avoid looking like I’ve been preparing for a bank heist when I walk my dog.
Wearing a Mask
Especially when I go out, I now wear a mask. A routine I never thought I’d get used to, let alone embrace. These changes reflect the new normal we all are gradually getting accustomed to.
Consistency in Appearance:
Despite the lack of pressure from social life, I remain the same—same face, same limbs, same weight. The quarantine has slightly impacted my fitness routine, but surprisingly, my mother’s cooking is healthier than my university selections.
TLDR: A core aspect of my life remains the same, but some little changes make a big difference. Longer hair, longer nails, and a mask—sounds frightening, but it’s just the new normal!
