The Humbug of Truth: Comparing a Fake Gold Rush to a Conspiracy Theory Symposium
I recently watched the TV special about Al Capone’s vault. Honestly, I don’t see how one could ever watch Mark Liddell peddling conspiracy theories, no matter the subject. The TV show about Capone’s vault didn’t guarantee anything, but they did hint at what it might contain. However, the MyPillow Guy’s symposium was different. He promised proof of election fraud, proof enough to make Trump president again. He failed to deliver.
Promise vs. Reality: The MyPillow Guy's Symposia
Throughout the internet, people have talked about the stolen election and the big lie. People have even died in the pursuit of this belief. It has been ongoing for almost a year now. New demonstrations are being planned for the near future. State elections have been audited, and nearly a hundred court cases have been presented without evidence. Every case has been dismissed. Not a single tangible piece of evidence of election fraud has ever been submitted to any authority or court, yet we continue to allow this farce to proceed. Is this how insurrection and conspiracies are handled in America?
It’s been months and months without a single indictment for those who tried to violently overthrow the government, even hanging sitting legislators. We need real consequences for each and every one of these traitorous “tourists” and their supporters. Why are we waiting for the Republicans to take control of the House, Senate, and presidency again?
Do something!
Mike Lindell or Geraldo Rivera: Whose Words Are We Trusting?
Now, let's take a moment to compare Mike Lindell, the MyPillow Guy, with Geraldo Rivera. Geraldo Rivera is the lowest, dumbest, most desperate, dishonest sensationalizing attention-chasing no talent phony craven blowhole since Senator Joe McCarthy. He is a leech, a parasite, a blood-sucking tapeworm up the ass of American pop culture, which he single-handedly sank into the toilet with his apeshit stupid antics on TV.
He 'accidentally' created a new era of suffering nitwits in the new age of stupid, with daytime TV diminishing from classics like The Twilight Zone, Get Smart, and The Rockford Files to the relentless regurgitation of Sideways Sally trailer park clod hopping jackass jamborees. His influence expanded into Fox Network-driven megalomaniacal extravaganzas, and his family hour dinnertime exposé propaganda called ‘COPS’ has been around for thirty-three years.
Yeah, Geraldo, accidental architect and imbecile engineer of all that I despise, Geraldo!
The Really Bigger Letdown: A Gamble on Historical Ends and Means
Now, which was the bigger letdown: Al Capone’s vault or the MyPillow Guy’s cyber symposium?
There is no question that the MyPillow Guy's symposium was the bigger letdown. His special on Al Capone’s vault was nothing more than a gold rush in search of new conspiracies. It’s a testament to how far we've fallen that someone would accept such a show, and even consider it dependable information. It’s a reminder of the role we play in spreading and accepting misleading information.
As we move forward, it’s crucial to consider the reliability of the sources we trust. Whether it’s historical content or partisan agenda-driven media, it’s important to verify the sources and facts. The MyPillow Guy's promises and the supposed "proof" of election fraud have proven to be nothing more than baseless conjecture and political manipulation. Al Capone's vault, while intriguing, is a historical artifact, and we should appreciate it as such, not as an unsolved mystery of modern conspiracy.
